OUR STORY

Shopping should not mean
scrolling through messages.

Lost grocery lists. Buried dinner plans. Another trip to the shop. Cartly+ began with a problem at home.

The list was somewhere in Messenger.

Cartly+ started with a familiar frustration. Groceries were scattered through a Messenger conversation. Somewhere between the everyday messages were the things to buy, the dinner suggestions and the answer to “what are we eating tonight?”

For Cartly’s founder, shopping meant standing in an aisle and scrolling back through that conversation. Too much of the trip was spent looking for messages instead of picking up groceries.

Then came the second trip.

Being a little absent-minded made it easier to miss something. Sometimes the missing ingredient only came to mind after getting home. That meant another trip to the shop, even though the first one should have been enough.

The problem was bigger than a missing checklist. The conversation about dinner needed a place too. A plan was not much use if it disappeared between unrelated messages.

A shared place for the list and the conversation.

That became the idea behind Cartly+: give household shopping its own space. Keep groceries in a shared list, keep questions in household chat, and bring recipes and meal plans close to the people doing the shopping.

Today, household members can use their own accounts on iPhone, Android or the web. Main list holds groceries without a date, while By date keeps planned shops separate. Saved recipes and meal planning help turn “what’s for dinner?” into something you can actually shop for.

AI connections are another way to get there. If you already use an assistant for dinner ideas, you can connect it to Cartly+ and ask it to add ingredients to a dated shopping list. The shared list stays at the centre.

Less remembering. Less scrolling. More getting on with the day.

Cartly+ is built for the ordinary moments: remembering milk while someone else is out, checking a substitute from the shop, or deciding on dinner before the journey home. The aim is simple: make shopping together easier to keep up with.
