Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your Cartly+ account and all associated data directly inside the app. No request or waiting period is required. This page explains exactly how. It applies to the Cartly+ app (“the App”) developed by S10 Solutions. If you have any questions, contact us at support@s10solutions.com.
How to delete your account in the app
The App has a built-in “Delete account” option. To use it:
- Open the Cartly+ app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Tap the Settings tab.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete account (the red option labelled “Permanently remove your account and all data”).
- On the “Delete your account?” prompt, tap Delete account to confirm.
- On the second “Are you absolutely sure?” prompt, tap Yes.
Your account and the data described below are then permanently deleted, and you are signed out. This action cannot be undone.
If you can no longer access the app
If you have lost access to the App and cannot sign in, email support@s10solutions.com with the subject “Account deletion request”. To protect your account, we will first verify that you own it (for example, by confirming a code sent to the email address registered to the account) before deleting anything. Once verified, we process the request within 30 days. Whenever possible, please use the in-app option above, as it is immediate.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your account profile (email address, display name, and authentication identity).
- Your shopping lists and list contents.
- Your household memberships and the chat messages you have sent.
- Your app preferences and settings.
What may be retained
- Shared household content: Content you contributed to a household that is still used by other members may remain visible to those members. Messages and items are attributed to a removed user rather than your identifiable account.
- Legal and operational records: Limited records (such as transaction/subscription records and backend error logs) may be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or service-reliability purposes, for as long as applicable law requires.
- Backups: Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten on our standard backup rotation.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through the store you purchased from: Apple App Store (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Play Store → Subscriptions).
